He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli C. and Mary E. Haas (Hafer). He is survived by: his brother John D. Haas; his close friend Brenda Brintzenhoff; his children, James Haas (Heather) and Linda Shirey (David); the mother of his children Marie Haas; his grandchildren, Alyssa (Brandon Luft), Taylor and Leah; and his great grandchildren, Logan and Aubrey.
