While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Sumney and Polly Miller Sumney. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ritzo Sumney; his daughter Grace Sumney; his brother Davey Sumney (Carol); and his godson Liam Watters. He is also survived by several nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc. (809 Main St, Bentleyville, PA 15314). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church (45 Church Rd, Eighty Four, PA 15330). A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Beallsville Cemetery (32 Chestnut St, Beallsville, PA 15313).
