With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles R. Linton of Scenery Hill, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 18, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Linton and Irene Hewitt Linton; and his siblings, Edna, Arthur, Walter Linton and Ann Huffman.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Beall Linton; his children, William Linton (Reta) of Pataskala, OH, Barbara Heberle (Kevin) of Indian Land, SC, Jeffery Linton (Mary) of Morristown, PA, Gregory Linton (Saundra) of Chetek, WI, Daniel Linton (Mary Beth) of Whiting, NJ and Brian Linton (Bonnie) of Chapan, SC; and his brother Bob Linton of Washington, PA. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd. (2830 Main St, Beallsville, PA 15313). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
