It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Hannis (Sayre, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 17, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Obuch and Mary Dubec Obuch; her husband Peter Hannis; and her siblings, Joseph, John "Jerry", Paul Obuch, Helen Novak, Mary Pryslopsky and Tillie Masluk.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Sides of Sayre, Irene Slocum (David) of Sayre and Michael Hannis (Jennifer) of Sayre; her goddaughter Susan Novak Hogan of Waverly; and her pet Josie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
