With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Francis Chapman (Sayre, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 29, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Chapman and Hazel Chapman (Stiger); and his son David Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Chapman (Schultz); his children, Dianne Cole (Ronald) of Sayre, Elaine Ward (David) of Sayre and Stephen Chapman of Sayre; his grandchildren, Meredith Stepka (Ross), Andrew Cole (Bridget), Molly Bespartochnyy (Roman), Jennifer Ward, Brandon Ward (Amy), Thomas Ward, Spencer Ward, Andrea Lynch (Joshua), Michael Ward (Cheyenne), Mitchell Ward, Melissa Chapman and Jennifer Hadley; and his sisters, Sister Joanne Abrams of Santa Rosa and Mary Yarrison (Scott) of Athens, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be directed to Samaritan's Purse or the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Robert Francis Chapman.
