He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Eugene and Helen Louise McCracken (Keyser); his sister Sue Flynn (McCracken); his children, Lywn Vanderpool (Pete) and MaryAnn Bata; and his grandson Joshua McCracken.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret McCracken (Bata); his siblings-in-law, Jack Vanderpool (Sandy) and Laura Benjamin; and his children, Jon McCracken of Highland, Tammy Allis (Stephen) of Magnolia, Del., David McCracken (Amy) of Sandy Hook, Paul McCracken (Maureen) of Lebanon Ohio, Jennifer McCracken of Vandalia, Robert McCracken (Amy) of Leland, N. C., Gloria Vanderpool of West Franklin, Pennsylvania and Tracy Vanderpool (Kate) of Towanda, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. And many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Wysox Cemetery.
