He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Barnes and Lura Barnes (Warner); his wife Dorothy Barnes (Gaines); his son Norman Barnes; and his siblings, William, Sherman, John Barnes, Marion Levey, Evelyn Smith and Marie Barnes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela MacCoy (Joe) and Tonia Wheeler (Greg); his sister Norma Braman; his grandchildren, Shane Barnes (Cindy), John MacCoy (Crystal), Kayla MacCoy (Kyle Stoquert), Julie and Kim Wheeler; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Bradley, Oliver and Charlotte; and his great great grandchild Jordin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
