She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Johnstone and Mary Johnstone; her husband Frank P. Bell; her son Alan S. Hourcade; and her stepmother Catherine Johnstone.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Hourcade (Teresa), David Hourcade (Hazel) and Missy VanDuzer (Jamie); her grandchildren, Lindsay Terwilliger (Brian), Erin Duffy (Brian), Jean-Luc Hourcade (Shannon Turner), Brelin VanDuzer, Kannon VanDuzer, Mazlin VanDuzer and Afftyn VanDuzer; her great grandchildren, Mason, Olivia and Audrey Terwillger; her cousin Jeanette Rhode; her nieces, Anna Tulyea, Kathleen Allen and Ethel Schmidt; and her friend Ethel Knehr.
