With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irvin C. Smith of Sayre, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin P. Smith and Ruth Merritt Smith; his wife Dixie Warner Smith; and his grandson Thomas William Cook III. He is survived by: his son Eric Keir (Jackie Miner); his grandchildren, Travis Keir (Sara Wilson), Zachary Keir, Derrik Keir (Margo Connor) and Isabella Miner; his great grandchildren, Lana Mae Keir and Remi Lou Keir; his sister-in-law Margaret Keegan; his niece Amanda Keegan; and his nephew Charlie Keegan. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 4:00 PM. Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (225 S Main St, Athens, PA 18810). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
