He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin R. Phillips and Lucille Sink Phillips; his wife Eleanor Wilcox Phillips; his son Douglas Phillips; his daughter-in-law Karen Phillips; and his granddaughter Renee Phillips.
He is survived by: his children, Virginia "Ginger" Grappone (Bob) of Crestview, FL, Michael Phillips of Kingsport, TN, Ronald Phillips (Joan) of Fair Oaks, CA, Richard Phillips (Donna) of Dover, DE, Dawn Tillinghast of Sayre and Scott Phillips (Maureen Smith) of Ridgebury Twp; and his brother Jeffrey Blose of South Bend, IN. He is also survived by several grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
