He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Smith and Gertrude Park Smith; his wife Joan V. Smith; his son David John; and his siblings, Julia Duvall, Robert Smith (Diz) and Dr. Roger Smith (Mary Ann).
He is survived by: his sons, Edward Smith (Tammy) of Hardy, VA and Dale Smith (JoAnn) of Schenectady, NY; his grandchildren, Aaron Smith (Zoe) of South Waverly, Celeste, Aubrey Smith of Sayre, Christopher Smith (Grace-Ann) of Miamisburg, OH, Danielle Healy (Dave), Alex Smith and Andrea Gingell (Brock) of Schenectady, NY; and his brother Thomas Smith (Barb) of Sun City, FL. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed Bradford County Humane Society in Dana J. Smith's memory.
