It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Laverne Emerson (Sayre, Pennsylvania), born in Phoenix, New York, who passed away on August 24, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Emerson and Olive Emerson (Houghtaling); and her son-in-law Joseph Coston. She is survived by: her children, Stacey Coston of Athens, PA, Kevin, Kristie Hulbert of Plattsburgh, NY, Lynne O'Sullivan, Barbara Hulbert of Athens, PA, Leon Hulbert of Oswego, NY, Brian, Laura Hulbert of Owego, NY and Danielle Hulbert of Hastings, NY; and her sister-in-law JoAnna Emerson of Great Bend, NY. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother.
