He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kmetz and Mary Kmetz (Marga); and his former wife Helen Lesko Kmetz. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Carman Slingerland Kmetz; his children, Andrew Kmetz of Hampton, GA, Mark J. (Patricia Kmetz) of Litchfield, PA and Susan E. (Anthony Cappello) of Long Valley, NJ; his grandchildren, Daniel Kmetz, William Kmetz, Christine Brennan, Lindsey Cappello and Katelyn Rozin; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee Kmetz, Connor Kmetz, Jacob Kmetz and Vladimir Rozin.
