He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Thurston and Madelyn Thurston (Stanton); his brothers, Vincent and Philip; and his sister-in-law Heidi.
He is survived by: his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Deanna Thurston of Milan, PA; and his brother Charles R. Thurston of Kannapolis, NC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
