It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley J. Pensak of Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward H. Pensak; her parents, William Evans and Romayne Smith; and her sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Kester and Romaine "Ricci" Brennan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Merwine (Jeffrey) of Saylorsburg, Susan Green (Roger) of Saylorsburg and Lorrie Anderson (Randy) of Saylorsburg; her brother William Lazar (Corrine); her grandchildren, Dr. Sheena, Christopher, Dr. Kody, Roger Jr. (Sandra), Darren (Kristi), Ross (Allison), Brianna (Ian) and LorRanda (Chris); her great grandchildren, Jalen, Tristan, Braydon, Alexandra, Rylee, Wyatt, Bryant, Luke, Coralee, Garrett, Natalee, Oliver, Hannah and Hailee; and her pet Checo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
