He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherwood A. Sr. Gower and Elizabeth Gower (Singer); and his sister Mary Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Gloria (Tabella); his children, Christopher Gower (Kimberly) of Kunkletown and Mary Palmieri (Michael) of Saylorsburg; his siblings, Anna Lee of East Stroudsburg and James Gower of Stroudsburg; and his grandchildren, Julia Gower, Ashley Palmieri, Briana Palmieri and Matthew Palmieri.
