He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Harry Wilson and Mildred Wilson (Sprowls). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Wilson (Engle); his children, Valeri Vedral (Dan), Rob Wilson (Jen) and Jason Wilson (Sue); his sister Elizabeth Wilson; his grandchildren, Alex Vedral, Bobby and Sienna Wilson; and his pet Naviss.
