She was predeceased by: her spouse Durand Laufer Kunkle; and her parents, Maurice Stout and Catherine Stout (Kozik). She is survived by: her children, Damon L. Kunkle (Lea) of Saylorsburg and Lisa Kunkle-Meyers (Glen) of Palm Coast, FL; and her grandson David Bizousky of Palm Coast, FL. She is also survived by several siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

For a short time, she was the local chapter president for the American Cancer Society.
