It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Smagalski of Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Castiglia and Rose Castiglia (Consoli); her husband Walter L. Smagalski; and her brother Johnnie "Hawk" Castiglia. She is survived by: her children, Donna Ajamian (Avo), Dawn Smagalski, Lisa Smagalski and Walter L. Smagalski (Joanne); her brother Larry Castiglia (Sandy); her grandchildren, Danielle, Domenick, Frankie, Matthew, Melyssa, Charris, Giovanni, Amber and Vince; and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Justin, Diona, Summer, Anthony, Jade, Slade and Oliver.
