He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Altemose and Edna Altemose (Starner); his siblings, Margaret Johnson and Donald Altemose; and his grandson Aaron Peechatka.
He is survived by: his children, Brian K. Altemose (Maria Isabel) of Effort and Teresa Peechatka (Randy) of Tannersville; his siblings, Clyde Altemose of Saylorsburg and Nancy Green of Gilbert; his grandchildren, Julie Busuego (Al, Laura Zaun) and Stephanie Werkheiser (Ken); and his great grandchildren, Logan, Blake, Kara, Tyler and Kilian.
