He was predeceased by: his parents, John Deuel and Anna Constantine Deuel; his siblings, James "Sonny", Roy, Eugene, Robert, Lawrence Deuel and Jessie Simber; and his daughters, Sandy Lynn and Cindy Ann Deuel.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Horvath Deuel; his former wife Patricia Kocian; his sons, Joseph Albert Deuel and Richard Anthony Deuel; his daughter-in-law Kori Zunic of San Diego, CA; and his grandson Sky Buneta Deuel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
