He was predeceased by: his spouse Marion L. Davis (Hawk); and his parents, John W. Davis Sr. and Lydia Davis (Miller). He is survived by: his sisters, Anna Mae and Nellie; his siblings-in-law, LeRoy Hawk of Saylorsburg and Fern Boyce of Tunkhannock; and his niece Barbara Ziegenfus of Saylorsburg.
