It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gutchiston Sparrow Jr. of Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 22, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gutchiston Sparrow and Albina Sparrow (Mikalonies); his son Gutchiston Sparrow, III; and his siblings, Richard Sparrow, Mary Ann Rissmiller, Georgianna Troxell and Eva Klingel.
He is survived by: his wife Donna L. Sparrow (Houser); his children, Renee'Bush of Point Phillips, Vanessa Sparrow of Saylorsburg, Steve Sparrow of White Haven and Andrew Sparrow of Saylorsburg; and his sister Geraldine Butz of Easton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ruggiero Funeral Home (126 E Pennsylvania Ave, Pen Argyl, PA 18072). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Wind Gap Cemetery.
