Berthel of Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Secaucus, New Jersey, who passed away on January 2, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick J. Berthel and Gertrude Berthel (Heflich). He is survived by: his wife Alice Berthel (Berth); and his sons, Frederick A. Berthel (Lola) of Little Ferry, NJ, Marc Berthel (Robin) of Little Ferry, NJ and Peter Berthel (Tracy) of Jackson Township. He is also survived by three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
