He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Hunt and Muriel Hunt (Warrick); and his sister Beverly Duer. He is survived by: his sons, Frederick D. Hunt (Jennifer) of Bridgeton, N. J. and Joseph W. Hunt (Beth) of Saylorsburg; his grandchildren, Sophia Hunt and Brayden Hunt; his great grandchild Wyatt Hunt; and his siblings, Patricia Guarry and Richard Hunt.
