He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hawk and Elaine Hawk (Ziegenfus). He is survived by: his wife Brenda J. Hawk (Serfass); his children, Scott Hawk (Kay) of Palmerton and Melanie Frantz (Jason) of Brodheadsville; his sister Luann Ziegler (Bill) of Albrightsville; and his grandchildren, Joshua Frantz, Nicholas Hawk and Morgan Frantz. He is also survived by his friends and family.
