He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Fitzpatrick and Margaret Fitzpatrick (McIntyre); his former wife Joan Fitzpatrick (Ala); his son Thomas Bernard Fitzpatrick; his grandson Justin Pennypacker; and his siblings, Jim, May, Kathleen, Jack and Peggy.

He is survived by: his wife Anne Fitzpatrick (Coleman) of Saylorsburg; his children, Donna Ruotola (Frank) of Jackson, NJ, Sharon Pennypacker (Scott) of Forks Twp, Maureen Beattie (Paul) of Alexandria Twp, Diane Carletti (Louis) of Nazareth and Jean Catania of Sciota; and his stepchildren, Leonard Zehnbauer (Mary) of Hackettstown, NJ, Mary Ann Guido of Holly Springs, NC, Mark Zehnbauer (Donna) of Glen Gardner, NJ, Theresa Zehnbauer of Raleigh, NC, Paul Zehnbauer (Merry) of Milford, NJ, David Zehnbauer (Ginger) of Easton and Connie Zehnbauer of Clinton, NJ.. He is also survived by 38 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
