He was predeceased by: his parents, John Melius and Gaynell Melius (Shaffer); his spouse Lou Ann Melius (Brown); and his siblings, Frank Melius, Carl Melius, Joe Melius, Jimmy Melius, Harry Melius, Frances Miller and Mary Burton.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie (Dan White) and Terry Melius (Lynne); his grandchildren, Angie (Shane Deitzler) of Trinity, FL, Kristy Williams (Michael Duvall) and Alex Melius (Brandy); his great grandchildren, Zoie Deitzler, Orion Deitzler, Bo Isett, Regan Isett, Fabian Melius and Tristan Melius; and his siblings, Richard Melius of Hopewell, PA, Mike Melius, Edward Melius, Donna Manges, Dottie Long, Gladys Long and Susie White.
