He was predeceased by: his parents, August Diehl and Rose Diehl (Saeln); his siblings, August, Carl (Twins), Teddy, Freddy, Rhiney, Rose Marie, Gladys and Margie; and also Jane Lorraine Diehl (Kramer).
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Edward Diehl, Jr. (late Dorothy) of Philadelphia, PA, David Diehl (Dayna) of Philadelphia, PA, Melanie (Christopher Gresko) of James Creek, PA and Kelly Snyder (Scotty Sheeder) of Dudley, PA; his grandchildren, Natalie, Riley, Kieran, Quinn, Brigid and Erin; and his niece Rosie Cravera of Philadelphia.
