He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Jean (Lindley) and Charles Robert Jarrell. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Beth Jarrell (Seippel); his daughter Michele F. (Conner); his brother Chris (Jarrell); and his grandsons, Alexander D. and Zachariah J. Conner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
