He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Stapleton and Mary Stapleton (Wyles); his brother Bill Stapleton; and his daughter-in-law Kim Stapleton. He is survived by: his children, David Charles Stapleton (Crista) and Barbara (Dennis Oliveri); his grandsons, Max Stapleton, Christopher, Curtis and Steven Oliveri; and his siblings, Ted Stapleton (Audrey), Sara Miller and Judy (Jerry Burket).
