He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle "Pete" and Mary "Hilda" Covert (Bair); his brother Gary Covert; his brother-in-law Bob Foust; and his nieces, Jessica Covert and Cayla Steele.
He is survived by: his spouse Delaine Kay Covert (Steele); his daughters, Amanda Assaley (Jeremie Coughenour) and Ashley Lantz (Justin); his grandchildren, Vanessa, Sophia, Arianna, Brantley, Lincoln and Minlee; his siblings, Allan Covert (Trish), Glenda McEwan (Dave), Beverly Kuykendall and Bonnie Foust; and his nephew Jason Strait. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions and be made to the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home Inc. P.O. Box 214, Broad Top City, PA. 16621 to assist the family with final expenses.
