Christy of Saxonburg, Pennsylvania, born in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 97, on January 12, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Negley and Barbara Negley (Adams); her husband Elmer J. Christy; her daughter-in-law Marilee Christy; her granddaughters, Bridgett and Charity Christy; and her sisters, Vera Christy and Pricilla Richter.
She is survived by: her children, Elmer G. Christy (Carole) of Freeport, Gary W. Christy of South Buffalo, Meredith J. "Merdy" Christy (Marge) of Freeport, Thomas L. Christy of South Buffalo and Melody S. DiEmidio (William) of South Buffalo; her daughter-in-law Marge Christy of Natrona Heights; and her siblings, Wayne Negley of Saxonburg and Barbara Shurina (Millard) of Natrona Heights. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; her great-great-grandson.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, the family will hold a private visitation over the weekend in the DENNIS J. DAUGHERTY FUNERAL HOME, 324 Fourth St., Freeport, 724-295-3100.
