He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Clyde and Naomi Elizabeth Chritchley McKinney; and his brothers, Bruce W. McKinney and Charles "Buddy" McKinney. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn R. "Bunny" Weibel McKinney; his daughter Candace "Candy" Preteroti (Gregg) of Saxonburg; his grandchildren, Stone "Spudz" Preteroti and Aspen "Punkin" McKinney; and his sister Donna McKinney Flowers of Saxonburg.

Memorials may be made to the Clinton Presbyterian Church, 197 Glade Mill Rd. Saxonburg, PA 16056.
