He was predeceased by: his parents, George Francis Welsh and Carroll Perry Welsh; his brother Fran Welsh; and his stepsiblings, Jack Gush and Marilyn Marmo.
He is survived by: his wife Andrea "Pidge" Welsh; his children, Gary Welsh of Sarver and Robin Lisac (Dennis) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Lucas, Malyn and Calvin; his siblings, Margaret Fabris (Edward) of California and Roger Welsh (Jeannie) of Penn Township; his stepsister Carol O'Donnell (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth "Betty" Wholeben and Gary Marmo of Florida.
