It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Schwalm (Saxonburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 28, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eleanor Schwalm to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Joseph Kolarik and Anna Dinda Kolarik; and her daughter Patricia Benbow (Joel) of Edina, MN.. She is survived by: her husband Horst Schwalm; her siblings, Bohdan, Ted, Bob, Milan, Walt, Ivan, Doris, Vera and Luther Kolarik (Peggy) of Ambler, PA.; her sister-in-law Mabel Kolarik (Bob) of North Canton; her daughters, Janet Rabon (John) of Simpsonville, SC., Diane Freeman (Mike) of Simpsonville, SC., Susan Vidas (Bill) of Edinboro, PA. and Amy Hunt (David) of Berlin, CT; her sibling Alise Heinrich (Thom) of Waterford, PA; and also Sathia Sehmke (Roland) of Malaysia. She is also survived by her sixteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot, PA, where Eleanor lived for more than half her life, and where she received wonderful nursing care for her final ten days.
