She was predeceased by: her parents, Seibert Eckel and Esther Smyers Eckel; her husband Merle Hickey, Sr.; and her son Merle "Bud" Hickey Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Croushore (Ronald) of Harrisburg and Sally Lingenfelter (Arthur) of Leechburg; and her sisters, Marie Riggs (Ronald) of Butler and Kathy Marsh (Thomas) of Mars. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
