He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Silvis and Marjorie Hooven Silvis; his wife Sarah "Kate" Silvis; his son Dallas G. Silvis, Jr.; and his sisters, Florence Harmon and Virginia Silvis.
He is survived by: his children, Marjorie Kloker (Nelson) of Butler, Kathleen Wilson (Robert) of Chicora and Jeffrey A. Silvis (Bernice) of Sarver; and his daughter-in-law Janice Silvis of Kittanning. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Clinton Presbyterian Church.
