He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. Klaus, Sr. and Kathrine M. Klaus (Augustin); and his son Charles John Klaus. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Klaus (Pansa) of Thailand and Jessica Gardner (Robert) of Chagrin Falls, OH; his grandsons, Sam and John; his stepgranddaughter Lily; his siblings, Kay Barrow, Roger Klaus (Rhonda) and Mary Wittmeyer; and his friend Sara Horsman.
