He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Mae Herzer; his daughter Linda Madden; and his siblings, Charles, Ronald, Norbert, Annamae Barkley and Lorraine Jessen.
He is survived by: his children, Regis Herzer (Faye) of California, Joseph Herzer of Georgia, Donna Herzer of Louisiana, Richard Herzer (Kitty) of Georgia, Mark Herzer (Janice) of Georgia and Barbara Herzer of Cheswick; his sister Shirley Hammel of Valentia; and his father Mark Pattock.
