He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles J. Huckestein and Hazel Huckestein Sr. (Boody); his son Jeff; his siblings, Mary, Marilyn, Jack and Peg; and his brothers-in-law, Paul and Patrick.

He is survived by : his children, Chris, Darren (Olivia) and Joe (Rachelle); his grandchildren, Madeleine, Ava, Benjamin, Sarah, Morgan, Jeffrey, Adam (Jacinda), Mackenzie, Amanda and Madison; his sisters, Phyllis (Leo), Ruth, Jean (Mark) and Elizabeth; and his siblings-in-law, Randy and Betty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A reception was held on Sunday, June 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, LTD. (5864 Heckert Rd, Bakerstown, Pennsylvania 15007, United States). Visitation was held on Sunday, June 30th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
