With solemn reverence, we commemorate Carol S. Kaltenhauser (Saxonburg, Pennsylvania), whose life came to an end on March 13, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin O. Swanson and Fern Swanson (Eicher); her friend S. Roger "Snap" Oliver; her siblings, Rhoda S. Laughlin and Robert E. Swanson of Sarasota, FL; her former husband Snap; and her son-in-law Henry E. Atherton.
She is survived by: her husband Robert H. Kaltenhauser; her daughter B. Lynn Miller (Don); her grandchildren, Brian Atherton, Kristi Livengood (Miller) and Angela Krejocic (Miller); her son Gregory L. Capone (Mandi); her grandchildren, Jennifer Turner (Capone), Jason Capone, Jessica Capone, Julie Ohm (Capone) and Justine Capone; her daughter Mary Lou Volchko (Robert "Bz") of Poland, OH; her grandsons, Josh Volchko, Jake Volchko and Jordan Volchko; her children, Ann L. Bailey (Bill) of Richardson, TX and William L. (Mary Lou "Kitten"); her grandsons, Nick Capone, DJ Strotman, Matt Strotman and Shannon Strotman; and her brother Edwin O. Swanson of Zanesville, OH.. She is also survived by extended family from her five children and six step-children, 30 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and four foster children.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fox Funeral Home, Inc. (410 W Main St, Saxonburg, PA 16056). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church (100 W Main St, Saxonburg, PA 16056).
