He was predeceased by: his parents, Hyman Ruben and Minnie Ruben (Mandelbaum); his wife Fern "Fay" Ruben; his siblings, Carl, Jerry Ruben, Bessie Eisenfeld and Esther Marcus; and his grandson Greg Mullen.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Mullen, Linda Ruben and Charles Ruben (Christina); and his grandchildren, Michael Ruben, Jeremy Ruben, Jaime Ruben, Frank Ibarra and Jessica Ibarra. He is also survived by great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
