He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lloyd Stoops and Dorothy Peiffer Stoops of Sarver; his wife Elaine; his sons, Brian and David of Sarver; and his siblings, Gloria Garver of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Alan Stoops (Nancy) of Sarver. He was also cherished by three grandchildren.
