He is survived by: his wife Dr. Jane Hughes (Schilling) of Sarver; his children, Dr. Jane Hughes (Kurt Heil) of Mars, Dr. Marion A. Hughes (Gregory Bump) of Pittsburgh and James C. Hughes (Christina Hughes) of Los Angeles, CA.; his grandchildren, Beck, Ryan, Nate, Henry, Charlotte and Isla; and his sisters, Marion Geib of Ocean City, NJ and Elizabeth Burns (Joseph) of Wellington, FL..
