It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Suzanne Pearl Metro of Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania, born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert White and Ann White (Finney); and her sister Mary Jane Czerniawski. She is survived by: her husband James J. Metro; her children, James Robert Mowry (Carri) and Jill Hoffman (Kurt) of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Servansky (Dan), Katlyn Mowry, Jamie Kelly (Shawn) and Michael Stromberg; her great grandchildren, Myra, Mia Servansky, Faith and Isabella Kelly; her siblings, Margaret "Peggy" Long (Fred) of Fredonia, Robert John White (Cheri) and Beth Kaye White; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Ann Serych and Mary Theresa Sungala; and her mother-in-law Jenny A. Metro of Beaver Falls. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sue's name to Stoneboro United Methodist Church.
