She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Getty and Beckie Getty; her husband Lee E. Stewart; and her son Frank DeVault. She is survived by: her children, Sherry Krizinsky (Frank) of Polk, Lee Stewart, Jr. (Lyn) of Roanoke, VA, Doug Stewart (Sheri) of Columbus, OH, Dawn Stewart-Hulsing (Kevin) of Ijamsville, MD and Jeffery DeVault (Krystal) of Sandy Lake; her grandchildren, Amber Heckathorne, Lisa Krizinsky (Jarrett Geer), Katie Kirby (Kyle), David Stewart, Trish Gugino, Ryan Stewart, Kit Stewart (Alex), Josh Stewart, Breauna Dotson (Kyle), Brittany Deshner (Nathan), Byron DeVault and Isaac DeVault; and her sister Rose Behm. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Shirley's name to Sandy Lake Wesleyan Church.
