He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Downing and Maxine Downing (Kiser); and his siblings, Bill Downing and Carol Downing. He is survived by: his wife Roberta "Bobbie" Downing; his grandson Walter Downing of Sandy Lake; and his sister Karen Anderson (Bill) of Louisville, OH.. He is also survived by dad and raising his sons.
