He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Schell and Eleanor Blair Schell; his wife Esther "Toots" Zimmer; and his siblings, George, Bill and Betty Como.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark (Alexa) of Stoneboro, PA and Scott (Kim) of Cochranton, PA; his grandchildren, Michelle Hankinson (Steve), Nicole Bair (Shawn) of Pittsburgh, PA, Kate Keller (Patrick), Derek Schell (Becka) of Stoneboro, PA and Brielle Schell of Cochranton, PA; his great grandchildren, Copelan, Collins Keller and Leni Schell; and his sister Margaret Kasbee of Sandy Lake. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
