He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Elder and Mable Elder (Beirman); and his brothers, Howard, Robert and Harold.
He is survived by: his wife Linda L. King; his children, Todd Elder (Cherise) of Clover, SC, Lori McCracken (Robert Conrad) of Sheakleyville and Ryan Elder (Debbie) of Hope, KS; his brother Harry Elder (Roberta) of Sandy Lake; his son-in-law Keith McCracken; his sisters-in-law, Alberta Elder and Anne Elder; his grandchildren, Michael McCracken, Jason Elder, Derek Elder, Reba McCracken, Nathan Elder, Nicholas Elder, Lily Elder, Rob Brock, Heather Shatto and Curtis Shatto; and his great grandchildren, Michaela, Layton McCracken, Emma Lesofsky, Dawsyn, Carsyn Elder, Allison Elder, Christopher, Matthew, Rayne Brock, Audrey, Viola, Heath Shatto, Tallahassee, Annabelle, Remington and Wesson Shatto. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family has suggested that memorial tributes be made in lieu of flowers to the Commodore Perry Lions Club PO Box 6 Hadley PA 16130.
